What types of coffee can this machine make?

This model can make espresso and milk foam drinks. It has 11 drink selections on the menu: Ristretto, Espresso, Coffee, Cappuccino, Cappuccino Extra Shot, Espresso Macchiato, Americano, Portion of Milk Foam, and Hot Water. This model does not produce steamed milk and therefore is not capable of producing Lattes, Latte Macchiatos, Flat Whites, Café Au Lait, and other drinks that use steamed milk in the recipe. That is why we typically recommend this model for those who mostly prefer their brew black, with the flexibility to enjoy a delectable Cappuccino when the mood strikes.

What is the capacity of the water reservoir?

The model has a 1.8-liter water reservoir, which allows you to brew 6-8 drinks before needing a refill. We recommend this model for households of any size.

If you use the machine to make milk-based drinks, you will need to clean the milk pipework at the end of the day, which is a very easy process. You do need to descale the unit every 2-3 months (depending on usage and water hardness) if you do not use Jura water filters, and you need to clean the machine using cleaning tablets (a really easy, hands-off process) every 2-3 months.

Can it make two cups at once?

Yes, this model allows for two coffee-based drinks (of the same kind) at the same time. However, milk-based drinks, such as cappuccinos, are made using a separate side spout and are made one at a time.
